- Satori - if you're downtown and fancy brunch
The buffet is almost vegan - except for the butter, where they do have a vegan option, but also regular butter ("Bregott" is the regular kind"). You get to choose between the sides of a vegan pizza slice or soup (mushroom was the soup of the day when I was there) - I opted for the soup, which was probably my favorite thing about the brunch. The hummus had a bit of a weird texture, and the rest of the brunch consisted of a few bean salads and potato salads. The plate you're given, which I'm not sure if can be refilled, looked sort of small, but I was full when I left. Tea or coffee with free refills is included in the price, and you can even get it to go in small or bigger cup. Very friendly service, and very good for families - a lot of small children around. I liked this place, but one of my new favorites Lotta Love Cafe, is basically around the corner, so I'd honestly rather go there.
