I went to Utopia for lunch yesterday and I was impressed. The food I tried (pear, mint and pea soup; vegan morcilla; veggie burger; tiramisu) was all excellent. I often go to veggie restaurants here in Spain and think 'I could do better than that', but the chef at Utopia is at another level. What's more, I appreciated the tasteful decor and ambience of the restaurant, which is not something I can say about many restaurants here in Alicante. As it was a lunchtime on a workday I didn't try the selection of beers on offer, but that is another plus for a beer lover like me; they had a good choice of bottled beers including local organic options. All in all this is my new favourite restaurant in Alicante. NB: I had the lunch menu which was 10 Euros for a starter, main course, dessert, drink of your choice and a coffee.
