  • Very Good (but nothing extraordinary)

[I ate there in April 2015, the hours of opening were: mon-fri 08:30-19:00 & sat 08:30-16:00; the set menu was at 25Bs. and all vegan] Encouraged by all the good reviews I went to lunch at Namás Té. Luckily, I came early to check the address and take a mate, so I had the possibility to make a reservation, which is highly recommended considering they only have a few amount of menus available (but you can still order from the menu). The menu includes a starter, a soup, a main course and a dessert (the drink isn't included, but the teas and mates start at 5Bs). I had a 'croqueta de nueces' (nuts croquette), 'sopa polenta' (a soup with cornmeal), 'papa a la huancaína' (actually more like ocopa, since it was a peanuts sauce, and normally it's a Peruvian starter served cold, but I had it warm and it was surprisingly good), and a 'budin de quinua con chocolate' (chocolate quinoa pudding). All was pretty good, and I was glad that everything was made vegan (and all the set menus of the week too), but I have to say that not everything was astonishing like the comments made me think it was going to be. The croquette was flavourless without the tomatoes sauce, the soup was okay, and the main course and dessert very good. In a nutshell, a very good address for good vegan food at an affordable price and well located (between the Centro and Sopocachi).
