  • least bad option?

New Orleans offers slim pickings for veg*ns. So we need to call it as we see it and hope that a restaurateur opens a pure veg*n place one day. There's a lot to love about this place: the staff and cozy vibe. But the food isn't top shelf. I get the sense that people love it because it's the least bad option in the French Quarter. The only thing worth mentioning is the black eyed pea fritters and the black eyed pea plate that comes with rice and plantains. Honestly nothing else. And the pricing for these? Way more expensive than they should be.
