I tried Zizi's for the first time at Taste of Charlotte last year and fell in love on the spot. I was really disappointed that they weren't there this year because I was hoping to try more things that I haven't had yet. I have been vegetarian for 3 years now. I grew up in up-state NY where the eating of chicken wings is almost religious so needless to say, it was one of the more difficult foods for me to give up. When I tried the buffalo "chicken" wings at Zizi's, I finally felt like a hole had been filled. These "chicken" wings tasted better to me than some real chicken wings I've had. I haven't been to Zizi's in a while but my birthday is this month and it's the only thing I plan on asking for.
