- Lucky Cow at Mindil
Been here a couple of times while at the market. There is actually a lot of vego food at the dozens of other stalls but a fair bit of that is greasy noodles or deep-fried stuff. This is the only vego only stall. Its a little pricey for market food (it is Mindil), and a lot of it is certainly not vegan-friendly (they're big on cheese and mayo unfortunately), but pretty tasty stuff for the ovo-lactos. Overall pretty good by Darwin standards but personally I prefer the many exciting ethnic cuisines on offer to fried cheese and spinach balls and beetroot salad in a wrap. Thats totally a personal preference though, its good food if you're into that kind of thing.
