- Incredible Food
Located in the very centre of Newcastle, The Painted Elephant is an absolute gem which everyone should experience. The food is simply divine, and totally vegan! It's a little tucked away so can be tricky to find, but it is well worth seeking out. Best way to get there is to go to the Central Library, to the square, and then it is up the ramp underneath the big tower block. You won't regret it.
