- Very good quality food... but read my review!
We ate here for several days, during our trip in Dec 2014. We couldn't really fault the food quality - it was all very good, delicious, and all veggie. There were no meat listings on the menu, so not sure why this entry is classified as "veg friendly" on Happy Cow? All staff handling food were wearing gloves, and it was very clean on the inside. The spiciest sandwich was the Indian, followed by the Greek, Emirate, and Mexican. But, they were all very good! There were good quality photos on the walls of the various sandwich offerings, but you couldn't really tell at a glance what all the ingredients were. I mention this, for those of you who have allergies!! However, the full contents of each sandwich was listed on a cardboard board at the till. The board looked really worn out, so the management needs to consider replacing it! Or better yet, they could really do with putting a framed sign on the wall listing all the ingredients of each sandwich (instead of the tatty looking cardboard at the till). Considering the very good food quality, the price was perfect. 12 dirhams got you a large falafel sandwich, and 18 dirhams got you a large sandwich, french fries, and a soft drink. My only other minor criticism would be that the tables & stools in there were very flimsy. And one table had a cracked piece/broken piece which was held together by silvery duct tape!! Also, the door handle to go outside was also held together by selotape. So, they could really do with sorting those few issues out. All that aside, the food was delicious, and worthy of going back again. It was easy to locate, and open 8am to midnight all days (except Fridays when it was open from 4pm to midnight).
