This is a great place for vegans in a city where there is no vegetarian restaurant. As a previous reviewer has noted, the restaurant now always has a vegan starter, main course and dessert (a yummy chocolate torte – there is also fruit salad) on the menu, in addition to a vegetarian option. Vegans needs to watch out, however, for the pan of vegetables which accompanies the main course. The carrots are cooked in honey, so make sure that you ask for your vegetables to be vegan. The staff are friendly and flexible and the food is good value. There is wheelchair access, though this involves going round the back of the restaurant and entering through a fire door, plus an accessible toilet.
