- Awesome -you don't have to be vegan to love it
I'm not vegan, or even vegetarian, and sometimes when eating food in vegetarian cafes I can really taste the difference - but not here. I would defy anyone to know the cakes here are vegan - they are as gooey and sumptuous as anything I've eaten made with dairy. The food here, mains as well as cakes etc., is a brilliant advert for vegetarian cooking and really shows how delicious food can be without meat. I'm not sure I'll ever give up meat (sorry) but when food is this good it does make me wonder why not. Sadly I was only in Lancaster for a brief visit or I'd be eating at Bibbi's regularly - but I'm certain I'll be there whenever I'm in town
