- A great local and cheap snack! Worth a visit ..
Oily, puffy and delicious vegetarian baozi (包子). A great local and cheap snack. Each bun costs 10 NT$. Dumplings (饺子) are also very good and they are usually sold in bunch of 10 for 40 NT$, but you can also buy less (each costs 4 NT$). In Taipei a lot of places that makes baozi also have a vegetarian one, but you are never 100% sure that they don't use lard to cook. This stall is the only one I have encountered so far that only has vegetarian baozi/dumplings. Highly recommended!
