- A good place for lunch
Engine Shed is a café-canteen in a calm area, with a big room to eat. They offer sandwiches, cakes, pie, soups, etc. They have clearly indicated vegan options. Because I arrived quite early for lunch and had to leave also early, only sandwiches and some cakes were available. The sandwich I took was really good even if it looked ordinary. That was a good surprise, with a lots of flavour. I also took a big slice of chocolate cake, that looked and smelled nice. However, when I ate it, it appeared to have no taste at all. Where was sugar and chocolate flavour? It was a great disappointing and I do not know how to explain why a such beautiful chocolate smell was not transmitted in the taste. On the whole, it was a good experience, the place is nice and food is cheap and usually good.
