- Brilliant place. The Pie is a must!
Firm favourite, and our go-to restaurant of choice if in the area. We're stuck on the mushroom and ale pie (with mushy peas and chips) and it's a delight. Great seeing the same serving staff year after year, so it might be okay to work there too! Try not to arrive at about half six on a weekday as it's usually got a queue (what a great sign though). pretty noisy and not intimate, but worth it for the food! The peanut butter chocolate brownie with ice cream is still fantastic even though I've been getting it for ages now! And vegan!
