• Great location & vibe, not fully vegan

I was estatic to stumble upon the Inspiral lounge when shopping in Camden- unlike a lot of vegan spots this one is right on the high street, overlooking the lock. The music was good and the staff were friendly. When I went they had all kinds of raw tarts, quiches and pizzas, as well as sweet treats including raw ice cream. I had a hazelnut chcolate torte and a mango lassi, both of which were good, though the lassi was kind of grainy (I think it contained ground chia seeds or something). I went back yesterday for the open mike night, and was dismayed to realise that they were selling cow's milk as well as matcha tea with honey in it. Between this and the price I have to retract a star. Still a lovely spot but I'd rather patronise all-vegan eateries when possible.
