  • A good choice in the centre of Lisbon

There was plenty of choice on the buffet table, and our family group found plenty of choose from. Everything was clearly labelled (in Portuguese). Though none of us particularly liked the hot dishes, the salads, quiches, cold fried savouries and so on were plentiful and extremely fresh. We enjoyed the walk along the lively Rua Garrett and were glad we got out at the right exit from the Baixa-Chiado metro station - via the very long series of escalators to the Rua Garrett - because if you take the Rua da Crucifixo exit there are a lot of very steep steps to climb. The place wasn't busy, but we went early and it was filling up as we left.
