Wanida Kitchen is owned by Pat and his wife Wanida. Pat is the front man, quick with the friendly smiles and looking to cater to the diners wants! Pat has a working knowledge of English. This is a great place for you night owls. It does not open until 6 pm and then stays open until 3:30 am everyday. I have been there multiple times, and being a people watcher, I am always entertained by the late night characters that come through. I haven't had a meal there yet that I have not thoroughly enjoyed! Tip: Look for some gems that are veggie but only listed in the regular menu not the vegetarian menu. To name some, you will find veggie tempura, deep fried mushrooms and my favorite dish so far the Green Curry!!! Just ask Pat to make the curry veggie style. This is an open air location under a large roof so be ready for street noise and the odd cat or two to wander through. Nothing pristine about the environment, just functional. If you want a sparkling clean, quiet, modern, romantic place to dine this is not it. I have posted photos for a visual to help you find the place. It is located just North of the parking lot for the famous Alkazar Show (any cabbie in town will know the location). It is on 2nd road straight across from Soi 4. If you are at the beach it is one long block walk up Soi 4 to get to Wanida's
