  • Dinner at Paladar Zen in February 2010

The food was terrific and the dinner atmosphere was quiet and enjoyable. I am a strict vegan so I was happy to find several good hot dishes for me and many salad offerings at the buffet tables as well. Others at my table were vegetarians, so we all had many choices. The prices are reasonable, especially for vegans in Europe. Go there if you are in Lisbon. The owner knows the rules of a vegan diet and is happy to tell you about preparation of the food. The restaurant is located in Lisbon's financial district. I was told the lunches are busy, but it is quiet during dinner hours. There are about 10 tables in the restaurant. They also offer takeout - a big plate for 9 euros. Again, the food is great, well-prepared, the ingredients are good quality, and fresh too. I would go there again. Wish I could find a restaurant like that in every city in Europe.
