- Incredible vegan hot chocolate
I never expected to find vegan hot chocolate in Quebec City, but I did some sleuthing and found Erico Chocolaterie. Their soy milk-based hot chocolate is to die for. Rich, dark, and with a multi-faceted flavor, it will not disappoint! They also have a wide variety of dairy-free dark chocolates, including fleur de sel, coffee, hazelnut, almond, orange, and many others. The staff were friendly and helpful. They did mention that the chocolates could contain small traces of milk (they are made in the same place as the other chocolates). If you go, check out the attached chocolate museum (free entry).
