- good choice for a casual meal
We stopped by Harvest Market for lunch after a swim at Tunnels. The food was surprisingly flavorful and really hit the spot with a decent number of vegetarian and vegan options. The salad and hot bar are in the back of the store and are pay by weight. It may be more expensive than what you're used to back home but we found the price to be typical for Kauai. There's also a small juice bar in the store with the most amazing smoothies we've ever had. There was a bit of wait as they made our smoothies but oh so worth it! The store itself is located in a small but pleasant shopping plaza with a shared outdoor area with tables and chairs for dining. We didn't do any grocery shopping but it seemed to be pretty well stocked with the usual health store brands.
