We'd like to clarify that the protein in the summer roll is our house-made vegan version of 'nem nuong,' a traditional Vietnamese summer roll filling that translates to 'meatball.' We love them the way they are, but your two star review (the worst you can give on HappyCow for a vegan restaurant) shows they weren't for you. Even though we try our very best day in and day out, you can't please everyone! We are also very disappointed to hear your sauces were watery. This is not our standard, and we are addressing it with our kitchen team. In the future, please feel free to let your server know immediately—we would have insisted on replacing them with a fresh, properly-made batch for you. We ask our customers that "if something is wrong, let us know. If something is right, let everyone know." Of course not everyone lives by that - in fact, many do the opposite - but as vegans that is a common courtesy to consider in the future if you want to see vegan restaurants in this world. As for the draft, we sincerely apologize for the discomfort. While we have limited control over that back door area, our staff is always more than happy to reseat you at a more comfortable table.
