I would like to respond to the review of ''Chinese vegetarian cuisine, with a Japanese touch'', posted Mon Sep 07. Thank you for the review, please allow me to fix up a few points . Its a Taiwanese Vegetarian restaurant not Chinese and there is nothing Japanese about this restaurant except the high level of service expected from its Japanese customers. The menu comes in Japanese, English and Chinese. The Japanese word for brown rice is 'genmai'. The meal coming on trays is also Taiwanese style as is all the food . No dairy whatsoever is used including honey except some deserts which do use milk in which there will be a mark indicating this ..and soon this milk will be illiminated as well. This Restaurant also adheres to Tao principals of never using Onions, garlic, Chives, spring onions and shallots. So... this Taiwanese Vegetarian Restaurant,'Chen Fu', is on the 'China town' floor located on the 7th floor of the Granduo department store, in the Station of Tachikawa, Western Tokyo .
