I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't have a good experience at our restaurant! When I read your story, I double checked with our chef about the ingredients for our spring rolls. I can confirm that we do not use oyster sauce, but we do use hoison sauce. I also double checked our hoison sauce and it does not contain oyster sauce (we use Lee Kum Kee brand). I wonder if our server didn't understand you correctly and thought you were saying "hoison"(instead of oyster) or possibly they thought our hoison sauce contained oyster sauce? No matter what the problem was, I'm so sorry that you were told the wrong thing and we caused you stress. We understand that you don't want any exposure to animal products and we try to label everything clearly so you have control over what you consume. We failed to communicate the right information to you in a clear way, which is our mistake. Hopefully it's some consolation that you did not actually consume oyster sauce from our spring rolls. We will work with our servers so they are all aware of this issue so it does not happen again. Happy eating!
