Hello, Let me please clarify your confusion. We are a private venue and offer buffet style dinners that are preselected by the customer. Special requests such as vegan, gluten free, dairy free etc are an additional charge per plate. Your brother did not request special vegan dishes prior to the wedding and in fact came to the kitchen and said he wasn't aware you needed vegan options and asked if we can accommodate. Please note this was after dinner was already served. We did the best we could to try to accommodate the last minute request with limited food options for vegan and did not charge. Not knowing your dietary restrictions and not being given any additional information, you were provided rice and beans with vegetable assuming you would add your own condiments to be sure we didn't serve any intolerant foods or spices. We specifically recall the food was not eaten or touched. You were asked several times if there was anything else we can try to make for you. You said you were all set.
