But when I hear this from places that are not 100% vegan, it tells me they don't plan for vegans in their inventory they way they do for other items, so they are most apt to run out. What you report suggests that is the case with them. I had no interested in substituting tofu for tempeh, I can get other tofu dishes in other places on the island. I went there for tempey and when they didn't have it, I left. Businesses who offer vegan options need to learn not to take us for granted and to stock the vegan options as highly as they do other items.
