Jheleniak, You "couldn't" eat there apparently only because of you have an arbitrary rule to never eat processed, premade ingredients? Yeah, I understand that WFPB foods are the ultimate, but an occasional "processed" vegan item is not going to hurt any vegan's health. Don't take the vegan thing to such an extreme that it becomes unnecessarily frustrating and impractical. When you left, where did you go? To some other average restaurant where you had to order a salad, a cup of fruit or a side of fries? There aren't many options out there, which gets me regularly frustrated when I have to stop at an average restaurant and figure out something I can order that's actually satisfying, not too unhealthy, and not too much of a pain to communicate with the waiter/waitress about the vegan modifications I want... and then hope that it doesn't show up at the table with sour cream or cheese on it (which happens to me often!) or some other major screw-up. Here's an article that I really like about having a more realistic perspective on "processed" foods: https://www.wired.com/story/processed-foods/ And the formulations of those plant-based meat substitutes are getting better now that they are using avocado oil, etc.
