Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to post a review about your experience. We like our cupcakes rich and decadent with lots of icing and, although we realise this might not be to everyone's taste, we like them just as they are. You might enjoy our muffins as these are not as sweet. Our bakery items are best stored at room temperature; putting them in a fridge will dry out the sponge, so that's why they're kept in a cabinet. Hope that gives a bit more information about why they're stored like that. Ms. Cupcake
