BAIA has undergone some changes of late. Sometime around the beginning of September 2023, BAIA's excellent vegan chef, Joshua Yap, left and a new chef arrived. This was confirmed with the waitstaff when I dined at BAIA on September 17, 2023. I noticed the scaled-down menu that left out most of the creative offerings I enjoyed and asked what was going on. I was told that they did not want to overwhelm the new chef and that I should be able to expect more variety in the future.
