Of course they know how to speak English. They live in the capital city of Malaysia, where lots of foreigners stop by to have meals in the temple. Just for your information, I was kind of shock when I met Arabians (1000% Muslims, the woman wore 'tudung'/headscarf) went in, stop by, dined, and took numerous selfies (should call as we-fies) just beside the big burning joss-stick pot!
