Hi there, thanks for your feedback. We understand that it can be frustrating not being able to chose where to sit, however there is a system in place that allows our guests to pick the floor they prefer. When booking (depending of course on what is left available on the booking system) you can choose whether to eat on the main floor, the outdoor space or the first floor. The sitting aera was chosen by yourself at the booking. Now, I appreciate that maybe you didn’t know how the first floor is and wanted to change area after your arrival, but at that stage we can’t always swap tables. Like yourself other guests have booked a certain area and we have to respect that. We try our best to accommodate everyone but that isn’t always possible. I can reassure you that if we had an empty table we would have moved you right away and very happily - we want our guests to have a good time (so to avoid having to receive those feedback too), what you might have thought was an empty table in reality was a table already booked for someone else at a different time. I just wanted to clarify this so to give you an insight into our booking system. Many thanks
