Mrs. Pooh, we took the time to read your evaluation carefully and we really appreciate everyones honest reviews since it is our goal to improve the services we provide. In order to give other viewers a correct context, we present ourselves as a small vintage restaurant and bar, and our aim is to provide our visitors a plant based gastronomic experience inspired mainly by Portuguese food and flavors. As for the prices, they are at plain sight in the menu displayed in our window so you were well aware of them when you chose to ask for a table. Given the aspect of our space, which is definitely not a common 'tasco', an 'all you can eat buffet' or a cheap fast food chain, and also based on the explanation given by the staff as they presented you the menu, you knew that, if you were in such hunger, you should've ordered an element of every moment we offer as each portion was optimized to be complemented with all others. Instead, you chose to share the light and small quesadilla which was conceived for one person and chose our lightest main, the favas, our take on a salad full of flavor and textures. Since you are the first person to complain about lack of flavor in our signature dish and given the guarantee of the high standard of the food we serve, we can only apologize for not being able to please you. We are well aware of such utopia, the one of pleasing everyone. However, we do find it very hard to understand that, after being dishonest to the staff when questioned about the items you consumed, you felt the need to leave such a negative review. As vegans ourselves, and in pursuit of mentality change towards plant based food, we will continue to put on our best efforts to please the most people we can with our much loved slow food concept.
