If you think that you are 'subsidising' as a vegan then surely you won't want to go to any supermarket or shop that sells cheese, any restaurant, or even a health food shop that sells non vegan products. Very odd! I assume the prices are the same to keep things simple. At least you're not giving money to a restaurant serving meat.
