Dear Manuela, I would like to point out, that if you had read the menu correctly, there are lots of other options than just quiche, salad and soups (yes there are salads and grains that’s right ;)) There also are crepes (made by French people, with a French vegan recipe) Flammkuchen, cakes, and individual treats available (I suggest you try these because they are truly amazing and homemade). I also would like to say that since I have been living in Berlin, I have seen many places offering quiches BECAUSE Ohlala, more than 3 years ago now, have introduced quiche in Berlin (Nb: it's a French specialty and Ohlala is a French shop... Do you see any connection here?) About the vegan food: You might be depressed by vegan food, but it is a shame to say that when you... enter a vegan shop. That you did not like the food is your opinion, but that you cannot read a menu and/or available options correctly is either stupidity or hypocrisy. If the service is too slow for you, may I suggest that you go to a fast food place? There are a lot in Berlin and they offer sandwiches, as you said! (Ohlala does not, because they chose to COOK food). Also, I would like to add that Ohlala has MANY gluten-free options, which is absolutely great for people like me, who are gluten intolerant. All in all, I think I can say Ohlala remains my favorite Vegan place in Berlin BECAUSE it offers so many options other shops have not. Such a shame you did not like it but hey, maybe you should give it another try! Have a lovely Day! xx
