Good morning, Thank you very much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We have been experiencing extreme temperatures in Belgium this summer with many days of 34°C and more. All the cooling installations in our shop have been working very hard to keep our gelato cold, only adding to the heat. When we put our waffle irons on, the heat increases further because each iron works at approx. 200°C to bake waffles. What matters most to us, is the welfare of our staff and our customers. With this immense heat, we decided not to bake waffles. This situation only occurred twice this summer.
