I agree fully. My experience was worse. I noticed my bowl was too empty, then I asked the girl who had ordered right before me if she was missing something in hers too, then realized the owner didn’t give us any tofu. We went back to ask for it politely and he seemed bothered by the fact that we realized he had skimped out on tofu entirely on us… what a scumbag.
