Dear friends, a small local reminder: Cigkofte in Turkey is a traditional meat dish, but the only legal way in Turkey to sell it to the public is making it meatless due to hygenic concernts. Therefore nearly all cigkofte places around Turkey went meat-free several years ago. Current formula is replacing meat with walnuts or potato.
