Hi Mik, Thanks for your comments, sorry to hear that you haven’t received a response before. Vegan Junk Food Bar is a cashless restaurant which means we promote the use of cards or such means to pay. Not only for the safety of our staff (because of the risk of robberies etc) but also for environmental reasons; cash has a much bigger environmental impact to handle (printing / transport / handling). You are right when you say that we are legally obliged to accept cash payments but that doesn’t mean that we can’t promote it. If someone insists on paying in cash, that is always possible but we have very little to no change in house. From our experience, this isn’t commercial suicide but the way forward to increase our positive impact on the planet. Hope that this explains things and that we hope to see you soon with us.
