The food is completely organic, vegan, gluten free, kosher and handmade which means not only the cost of ingredients are higher, but the labor to make the product is also more expensive. The burritos are actually HUGE and made using two big (brown rice) tortillas to wrap them to contain all of the filling. I would definitely say the burritos fill you up, I can barely finish one myself and I am someone who doesn't get full very easily. I think it's unfortunate that we are blaming individual businesses for menu pricing and not looking at the greater issue that menu prices are based on the practice of paying low wages (in PA server rates are under $3) to staff in order to keep the prices down. This is a practice that started after the civil war as a way for restaurant owners to underpay newly "freed" slaves and have them rely on tips in order to survive. It's continued and caused menu prices to stay stagnant, leaving patrons to not understand the actual cost of providing the service of making and serving that food. Don't punish a business for responsibly sourcing and paying their staff. If you don't want to pay the price, that's 100% reasonable, understandable, and up to you, but writing negatively about a small business does nothing but hurt them in a time where small businesses are closing at an alarming rate.
