fyi - the phoenix chicken comes with a lemon dipping sauce. it's meant to be dipped and eaten. ie: it's intentionally "bland." it's breaded/battered, but not seasoned. and not sauteed in sauce... because that's what the lemon sauce is for. it's also one of my favorite dishes. i don't think i've ever been disappointed with it, and i've probably had it 60 times, over the years.
