You’re right Noreen, our cafe has changed hands, but that’s not a sad thing and our food is certainly not rubbish. If you visited on the day or indeed the week of your review, our curry of the week was an Ethiopian-inspired lentil dahl, and not aubergine, hence the finer texture. Regardless, all of our homemade curries have been extremely popular with our guests and we’ve had nothing but great feedback on them. We use brown basmati rice and it is always freshly cooked for the exact time for every serving. We understand your disappointment if you were expecting aubergine, but it’s a shame that you didn’t let us know at the time that you didn’t like it as we would’ve been able to do something about it or at least explain the ingredients to you. We take pride in everything we lovingly make and serve and it’s important to us that all of our guests enjoy their time with us and leave happy.
