Hi ! In French vegan is vegan or VégétaLien if you refer to food only ! If your order a dish "végétarien" (mean vegetarian, it can (and 99% of the time it will) include dairy product, eggs or honey. For pizza you can ask without cheese but be sure the dough is dairy and egg free.
