Dear vegan_mum, Please accept our sincere apologies for the staff's mistake. We completely understand your disappointment. Tutu moved out of Global Cafe a couple of months ago and opened her own restaurant in Palmer Park where she continues to serve Ethiopian food. The new Global Cafe Kitchen's opening times are the same as they were under Tutu's Ethiopian Table (Tues-Friday: 12:00-15:00 and 18:00-21:00 Sat: 12:00-21:00). As part of RISC we decided to become an exclusively vegan/vegetarian restaurant as it's more in line with the organisation's ethos of sustainability and ethical consumption. We are very sorry that you couldn't try the food because of the staff's negligence and we hope you give us another opportunity to make amends in the future. We're still in the process of developing and improving the menu and all feedback is valuable. Hopefully we'll see you again soon and this time you will be able to rate our food and not just the service. Best wishes, Regina
