Thank you for sharing your experience, and I’m sorry for the confusion during our relocation. At the time of your visit, Nirai was in the process of relocating from Hiroshima to Roppongi and had not yet reopened. We are scheduled to reopen on August 29, 2026, operating from a shared restaurant space in Roppongi. Nirai is a 100% vegan sushi restaurant. All of our food is completely plant-based, and no animal products are used. I’m also sorry that your interaction with the sushi chef left you with the impression that vegan sushi was being laughed at. This was certainly not our intention.
