Yes, New Zealand has a dairy industry and also exports lamb and beef. The beef and sheep thrive on being naturally grass-fed and hence are living very well. They are not in barns. The farmers farm responsibly and the waterways are well planted with NZ native trees because there are fines if the waterways are polluted. NZ also grows delicious fruit and vegetables and also exports apples and other products. It would be hard to find a cafe in NZ that doesn't offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten free food. Have you visited there and been on farms to see for yourself?
