First and most importantly: we should have communicated the night’s setup clearly before you ordered and settled in. Even when there is a DJ event, guests mainly here for food are welcome as usual with the standard ¥500 cover charge. We never want anyone to feel surprised by extra fees after arriving, and we’re improving our communication and front-of-house process so this is made clear upfront every time. To help prevent misunderstandings on busy/event nights, please feel free to tell our staff when you arrive: “We saw you on HappyCow — we’re mainly here for food.” That’s a simple signal for us to explain the situation right away and guide you appropriately from the start. Second, about the volume: you’re right that DJ nights can become extremely loud, and we understand that can completely change the experience, especially if you want to talk. We’ll keep making it clearer what kind of night it will be, so guests can choose the right timing — and we’ll continue working on balancing a party atmosphere with a comfortable experience for people sitting at tables. Third, the drinks being delayed/forgotten is on us. Even on special nights, service basics should not slip. We’ve shared this internally and we’re tightening our process so orders don’t get missed and timing stays consistent.
