Great vegan middle east food

We had baba falafel wraps which were very delicious. Falafel were crispy the vegetables fresh and the parsley and mint add herbal notes. The sauce ties it all together hughly recommend. Also good price esp. for norway.

So good! We keep going back.

We live in the middle of Norway and always visit King Falafel if we are in Oslo. Often twice in one visit. The falafels are a good value and have an amazing flavour with fresh herbs. You must try this place!!

Smakfullt

Synd at betjeningen føltes litt stressende.

Tasty food

The staff was helpful and willing to switch to English for me.
I had the falafel mix, which tasted quite well. I liked the pomegranates especially.

100% vegan, top!

The food is really good, with lots of choice. The place is totally vegan, so you don't have to be careful reading the ingredients. Is also cheap compared to other places in Oslo.

Pros: Food quality, Price, 100% vegan

Really good falafel

It’s cool its fully vegan, few options, full on flavour, cheap for Norway, but still it’s a falafel

Absolutely delicious

Everything is vegan and homemade. Really good portion sizes. Husband had a falafel and hummus wrap (which he'd almost eaten before I thought to take a picture) and I had falafel middag. It was huge! So tasty. Excellent place.

Pros: Not too expensive, Big portions, Delicious

Fresh and filling

Fully vegan spot with Falafel rolls and plates. The roll I tried was a perfect mix of Hummus, Falafel, fried eggplant and pickled vegetables. Well seasoned, fresh and filling. Very good choice!

Pros: All vegan , Fresh ingredients , Reasonable price

Best falafel and hummus ever!

Restaurant is 100% vegan and the food is amazing. I had their Mama Falafel roll up and was so flavorful and satisfying. If you’re vegan and in Oslo run, don’t walk, and get anything on their menu. You will not be disappointed.

Okay so I don't like falafel but...

I have had some bad falafel in the past and despite our hotel being on the same street I waited till the last day to try this place. So nice! Very affordable and far nicer on the inside than the outside would suggest. Check out the pictures in the menu. It helped us make our choice. Also. Foccacia bread. Delicious 😋

Absolute gem!

We are in Oslo for only a couple of days and Norway doesn't seem very vegan friendly, so this was such a nice find! The food was sooooo delicious, the interior is very nice and comfy and the owner was so kind! We had a mixed falafel wrap, fries and foul. All of it yummy and sadly we had had too much lunch to be able to eat any more than that...

Pros: Delicious food, Super friendly staff, Nice interior

Amazing falafel!

Brilliant falafel, the staff member was really kind and helpful and the food was incredible. Tasted very authentic and seemed popular with the locals. Nice, welcoming place. Note that there is no menu in English but it was quite easy to interpret.

The taste of the Middle East in the heart of Oslo

Delicious!!!
Had the platter… Great falafel, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, nice fresh salad and really tasty hummus and tahini..
I highly recommend a side of dolma, the pomegranate molasses was on point, the tabouli was also delicious..

Absolutely magnificent falafel wraps

Fully vegan falafel cafe in Oslo. Had the falafel with hummus on first visit and had to go back for the Falafel Spesial. Cannot recommend enough. Huge wrap and so much flavour. The inclusion of mint leaves in the wrap was a particular winner.

Pros: Very cheap. Especially for Oslo, Quality of wraps

Super yummy falafel wrap 🌯

The wrap was perfectly seasoned and the dressing made it so creamy and flavorful. Everything tasted super fresh and well balanced — you can tell they really care about their ingredients.

didn't like it that much:(

had the falafel plate which was very generous in size for a small price, especially considering we are in norway. the dish consisted of 5 or 6 big falafels, fries, fried aubergine, pickles, radish, tomatoes (i asked to omit these and it was no problem), mint, a couple of dips/sauces and flat bread.
although i enjoyed the fries and the falafel, i found the radishes not fresh but rather dry and the hummus as well as the tahini sauce to have a weird taste. i couldn't finish them and even though i hate food waste and try to avoid it at all cost, had to throw them.

some other little points of criticism are
- the sauces and dips come in little plastic containers even if you eat in. that's very unnecessary and also less charming than reusable ones e. g. made from china
- they also don't have normal cutlery but disposable wooden ones

Pros: cheap and generous portion, friendly staff, no problem to customise dishes

Cons: not everything tasted good, quite wasteful even if you eat in
