Vegetarian Restaurant

A vegetarian cafe in eastern Iceland. Situated in a converted barn on the farm Karlsstadir which is situated by the ring road. Owners are originally from Reykjavik but moved to the farm in 2014. Vegan options include bulsur (their own vegan sausages, ask for vegan sauce) with mashed potatoes and caramelized onion, and soup of the day with made-in-house bread. They are also in food production, making bulsur, that are sold in over 40 stores in Iceland and served in a few restaurants, in addition to making chips from potato (vegan). Open Mon-Fri 12:00pm-4:30pm. From May to October has longer opening hours, so please check with them.
