Their Lasagne are to (Live &) Die for

Well.. if Rolling Stones have rumbled into this cosy veegn piece of culinary heaven, they couldn't sing "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" anymore, for it would sound unsound, lacking the truth behind.

I(n this tasty place I'd happilly)
rest my case.

So freaking good🖤

Wish I had the time to stop by a second time during my trip! I had the omelette and it was one of the best vegan-egg dishes I’ve had! The bread and butter itself was awesome and worth the walk there for (it’s also close to a park with some good views of the city). Also enjoyed a pastry, and iced London fog latte😄

Really nice burger

We had the mushroom-seitan burger with fries and it was excellent.

Too bad the pizzas are no longer on the menu though and the “outdoor seating” was just a table on the pavement next to the road.

Pros: Very tasty!

Cons: Limited choice, No real outdoor seating

Definitely recommendable

I loved the sauerkraut starter and the tiramisu, the restaurant is beautiful, the staff was very nice and tiramisu was also great. I wouldn’t order the ravioli pasta again, it was good but not drop-dead amazing. I’d go back and try other stuff though!

Pros: Service , Interior , Starter

A little underwhelmed

I don't know if it's because my standards were so high based on the hype but I just felt a little underwhelmed. I ordered the potato gnocchi. It was fine. The texture was good with the crunch of the onions against the soft gnocchi. However, the only flavour I could taste was garlic. I had missed lunch so I was extra hungry and usually, in my experience, hunger is the best spice but this time it couldn't help out. The restaurant was very pretty and the staff were friendly.

Pros: Restaurant interiror, Friendly staff

Cons: Flavours weren't great in my dish

good food, nice people, amazing atmosphere

I love that it‘s a 100% plant-based and they really serve amazing food! Had the whole lunch menu, with soup, hot dog and dessert and my boyfriend tried the burger. We were really pleased with the food and the service, would totally recommend :)
I also took a Pistachio Krafin to go.

Pros: plant based place, reasonable/cheap, nice staff and atmosphere

Where are the food?

Went here for dinner the evening before Prague marathon. We hoped for good and filling vegan food to load up for the race. Ordered ravioli . Waited 45 minutes, then got 3 small pieces of ravioli. We went up even more hungry after the few bites. The waitress recommended us to buy yet another main course…
However, they pointed out the way to a grocery store so luckily we were able to finally buy some food .
A boring experience.

Dear Karna,

Thank you for your feedback. The dishes are small to have experience from more plates. Sharing is caring. We offer some starters. The price for ravioli in czk is 279czk. 1euro is 25Czk. Ravioli cost aprox. 11,5 euro. If your have time give us feedback pls be correct and write true informations. Its not close to 15euro at all. Have a great life full of joys. Jiri

Really cute little restaurant

The servants were really friendly and fast. Food was delicious and good portion size. Lots of things to choose from: pizza with different vegan cheese, Bruch menu and Appetizers. I would definitely come here again;)

Pros: Friendly stuff , Delicious food, cute restaurant

Awesome pizza!

Authentic Italian pizza just like I remember it from my non-vegan days. The prices are really fair too! Definitely worth a visit.

Hmm

Chutnej is a well known vegan spot in Prague, however, I feel like the dishes themselves are not that fantastic. Definitely not bad, but I think the taste could improve.

Hear me out!!

Ok so this is like a Prague classic, definitely worth visiting, owners have a couple of other businesses and the vegan city map would for sure be sad without them but the food is just not that great 🤕 it’s not bad but it’s not a wow – still a solid option tho

Pretty and delicious

We wanted to check this place out as it is voted one of the top vegan restaurants in Prague. The food was amazing and with the pretty plants everywhere really made the place shine. The service however could’ve been much better but nothing that would discourage another visit. Definitely try it out and make sure to try the local vegan-version dishes

Pros: Food! , Beautiful plants everywhere , Breakfast pastries

Cons: Slow inattentive service , Dark lighting

Tasty Takeaway

I ordered takeaway pizza with mushroom and cashew cream cheese and chips, and the pizza was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it, especially if you're like me and don't like most melted cheeses on pizza.

The best pizza in town

Their pizza is just amazing! Especially the dough is worth praise. And the less toppings, the tastier. Also I truly enjoy the long brunch hours.

Pros: Tasty food, Brunch, Friendly ppl

Cons: Drinks on the expensive side, Very limited outdoor sitting options

The best choice

Chutnej in Prague is a must-visit for pizza lovers and pastry enthusiasts alike. Their pizzas are perfection, with a crispy crust and flavorful toppings. Their pastries are equally delightful, with impeccable presentation and mouthwatering flavors. Whether dining in or grabbing a treat to go, Chutnej delivers an unforgettable experience.

Unique food but disappointing experience

In general the food was unique and pleasant tasting. Prices were on the higher side, but fair. Staff was a bit unfriendly and it felt like we as tourists were treated worse. The teas were not to our liking - although it could be our taste that was the problem.
The desserts were good, but not nearly as magical as other reviewers describe.

Best lasagne and soup I’ve ever eaten

We walked a long way (and uphill) to get there but it was certainly worth it!

Staff were lovely, food was delicious and surroundings gorgeous.

We seemed to have lots to eat and we had 2 drinks each but the bill was only £50 including a tip.

I urge anyone leaving a review on HC to also review on Trip Advisor for people that have not heard of happy cow. 🙏

It will help increase their profile too. We need to keep vegan businesses in the spotlight and support them wherever possible.

Pros: Delicious food, Gorgeous decor, Good value for money
