Vegetarianska restaurace. Contemporary vegetarian cuisine featuring specials, tapas, soups, salads, desserts, pasta, main entrees, fresh juices and beverages. Menu is also in English, and vegan items are marked. No eggs used. Interior is unique with each room a different theme: a small colorful contemporary room, a warm orange room with fish tank, and a blue heaven room where the called is decorated with stars. Reservation recommended. No smoking. The kitchen breaks from 15:30-17:00 when only appetizers and desserts are served. Directions: From Charles Bridge (Karlova mostu) walk south for 2 blocks along Krizovnicka to K Svetle and then turn left onto Borsov, a quiet alley off of K Svetle. Restaurant is immediately on left side in a soft peach color building. Accepts credit cards. Open Mon-Fri 11:30-23:30, Sat-Sun 12:00-23:30. Kitchen closes 22:00.

Menu is in Czech, and there is a photo menu on the wall: seaweed rolls, stir frys, soymeat dishes, sushi, noodles, tofu and vegetables. White rice only. Meals are served in beautiful authentic china. Comfortable clean space with several tables. Vietnamese music and chants played. No smoking. Owners are very friendly, the man (Mr. Chen) also speaks English. Maybe closed in between lunch and dinner for rest. Directions: from Dejveska metro station, if facing Diplomat Hotel, Kafkova is an alley behind the hotel, and to the left. Cash only. Extensive veggie food menu is also in English and features choices including soup, salad, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, Asian dishes, Mexican food, and more. Most dishes contain dairy and/or eggs. Regular menu has only a couple vegan dishes, clearly marked. Weekend brunch menu, served until 3pm, is American style with waffles, french toast, and has a few vegan plates.
