Had the amaranth porridge w dates and coffee w coconut milk. Okey taste and okey price for the location. It’s not local price, but curries are at least not 200 rp like other places (which is ridiculous btw...). Dahl is 120, so “only” 50 more than the true local prices. Nice view of Ganga and nice seating (reminder: you’re in India!). WiFi was on and off, so maybe not the best for digital nomads. Nice staff and very attentive when they have seen that there’s a costumer haha! Make sure that someone sees you when you go in, at least during low season. Otherwise you will be sitting waiting for quite a while.
Some interesting vegan dishes. Waiter tried to help me with this. Unfortunately the pillows were smelling and the seats looked kind of dirty. So it was not comfortable to stay longer. Tea with Soy milk was not so good.
Juices and health shots are so good, they have such a wide range of vegan food too which is amazing 😍 the food was so good. Nicest mushroom masala I have had and staff are so lovely.
We visited Zorba's after reading a glowing review in Happy Cow and thought we might have had the wrong place initially as the decor is very grungy and not clean or comfortable.
However, looking past that, we enjoyed our meal.
I had a chopped vegetable salad which was fresh and my husband had falafel wrap which was a substantial two pieces and delicious. Lots of hot and cold drink options including juices.
Seating is on floor cushions with low tables or there is one small table with two chairs. Very steep stairs too.
good vibes, great view, friendly staff, open meditations, delicious food, especially the wraps and the fruit salad! good juices too. if you want to keep it simple they also have a steamed veggie salad. go and check it out!
best place to eat and sit in the positive atmosphere.
excellent food with amazing ganga view. frequent musical concerts are never to miss. every evening candle decoration adds more beauty and positivity to the ambience. above all we can meet zorba's around if we are quiet open to recieve

So far the best eatery I tried here. Great food, wonderful armosphere and view. Have been twice in 5 days. Seriously recommended.

Great view, ok food - Edit
The view is nice, but the vegan options are quite limited and both times I ate here everything was quite tasteless...

good food - Edit
Zorba, next door to the Buddha Cafe has great hummus and pita with good curry. It has a nice view but not the best place in town.
