very good - Edit
I've been to Vegivores quite a few times over the last couple of years. The food is consistently delicious. Everything I've tried has been great. The biscoff waffle is next level good. Only small complaint, is that it feels like portions have shrunk slightly, recently.

After shopping in Reading, we decided to reject the chains in favour of dinner at this excellent vegan bistro just a mile away. Nice environment, great staff. Overall lovely experience.

Fabulous - Edit
This the place to go in Reading if you’re vegan… or just a person because the food here is banging. The satay slay burger/slay bowl is glorious and definitely make sure to get the crispy gnocchi coz it’s absolutely divine. The staff are very friendly too - best person who works there is Oscar though 😉 #Veganuary

First Stop for this American! - Edit
My daughter lives in Caversham and I come out every 3 months to see my grandson. First place we go is Vegivores! Love the full English breakfast. So much food and everything is delicious. I’ve had the tofu skewers, Mac and cheese, the Satay Slay burger, the burrito and the tacos. My daughter and I split whatever we order and since I’m only there every 3 months, I try to get different menu items. We love everything! I’ve eaten in their lovely courtyard and also had delivery. Wonderful food!

Just the best - Edit
I’ve been eating vegivores food since it was a food stand. Mac and cheese day was the best! I love the food, the staff and the atmosphere. They change their menu up now and again and I can’t wait to try the new items. My husband is obsessed with the biscoff waffle.

Delicious! - Edit
So happy to have found this place! It is fully plant-based. I had the satay burger which was delicious. My side of potatoes was a little bit bland but once I added hot sauce (Cholula) and black pepper it was perfect. I will be back to try the rest. Service was friendly but a little bit slow. In the end I had my blue matcha latte to take away. Slightly powdery but good. Really happy with the food, I will take people there!

Incredible food, a lovely restaurant and the staff were also great.
Read moreFor our starter we shared a Crispy Gnocchi - I could rave about this all day, it was absolutely delicious.
We then had the Macaroni Cheeze and Tikka Skewers. Both were brilliant. I’d say the Macaroni Cheeze is the best Mac and Cheeze I’ve had so far! For dessert we shared a Biscoffle which was just dreamy!
Would recommend putting this place at the top of your vegan restaurants to try!!

Amazing vegan restaurant - Edit
This is the second time I've been here and I was so glad to see it's still really busy. We both went for the mac and cheese which is made with sweet potato and topped with a herb & garlic crumb. It was so rich and creamy, and you get a big portion so it was really filling. Definitely worth a visit if you're ever in Reading.

I had been meaning to visit Vegivores for about 2 years but never went because it was a bit far. When my partner asked where I’d like to go for dinner on my birthday it was the perfect choice! I’m so glad, the food was delicious and my omnivore family loved it all too! Staff are lovely, and they were very accommodating for allergies as well. Highly recommend 💚

Delicious food in a lovely restaurant - Edit
Me and my partner loved our visit to Vegivores!
Read moreI really liked the decor in the restaurant, it was quite spacious, bigger than I expected but still had a cosy feel with cute decorations. The staff were also super attentive and kept checking in with us that we were happy with the food. And the food itself was amazing!
For our starter we shared a Crispy Gnocchi - it was excellent - cooked to perfection and the accompanying chive mayo was so good.
For our mains we shared a Macaroni Cheeze and Tikka Skewers. Both were absolutely delicious. The Macaroni Cheeze was made with a sweet potato-based sauce which gave it a really rich depth of taste, and the skewers were just so tasty with a wonderful sauce.
For dessert we shared a Biscoffle which was big, and again delicious!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Vegivores, I would highly recommend going! #Veganuary
